Special, extended meeting of AFT Connecticut’s M.O.V.E. (Mobilize, Organize, Vote, Empower) Committee, which was organized to monitor and enforce the state’s “safe patient limits” law in acute care hospitals. Participation is open to all non-managerial members of any facility’s nurse staffing committee, as well as members of other unions and those whose workplace does not yet have labor representation.
Lunch will be served beforehand at 12:00 pm.
Space at AFT Connecticut headquarters is limited; a virtual option is available for those who cannot attend in person and who sign up after capacity is reached.
